Warriors Make History

The Golden State Warriors, this season, were on the chase for 73 wins in order for them to surpass the 95'-96' Chicago Bulls record of 72-10. Last night on April 13th the Warriors took on the Memphis Grizzlies on their last regular game of their season. They had to win their last 4 games in a row to beat the Bulls and their last opponent comes down to the Grizzlies. The Warriors , led by the reining MVP of last year Stephen Curry, beat the Grizzlies with the final score being 125-104. They made history in beating Micheal Jordan's 95'-96' Bulls team with their record being 72 wins and 9 losses. The Warriors reached a total of 73 wins and is now the record holder in the NBA for most wins in a regular season with that now being 73.

Steve Kerr the current head coach for the Warriors had the privilege to play with Jordan on the 95'-96' Bulls team when they made history, and he thought that no other team would come close to breaking his record of 72 wins. Now 20 years later Kerr coaches the team to break his own record with the most wins in the NBA, That is pretty awesome and is a main part of the NBA's history.

Our parents had the privilege to watch Jordan in his prime win the title 3 straight years in a row 2 times! Now it is our turn to watch history unfold it self as we get to see the best 3 point shooter of all time , Stephen Curry, beat the record for most wins and get 73 wins in a single season!
